I disagree with this.......I spoke to 6 mercury warranty mechanics and all of them said the Merc oil is the same damn thing as Premium plus!
Talk to the Merc guys at the Houston boat show last year and they said the same thing! running Merc oil is what the book wants you to run... Face to face they said run Premium Plus and it does not affect your warranty either!
