No shortage of yellowmouths on the DU for Chase Frederick and Jimbo Alemand from Lafayette. Busted up the trout this weekend catching 75 fish in a little under 2 hours. We got the trout going at our first and only stop with some fast action. LSU and limetreuse Bayou Chubs did the trick. If there's a trout around you will catch them with these lures! Left them biting on every cast after reaching our limits. If we would have been fishing under a cork we would not have caught a fish! They were not suspended as everything we caught was slow on the bottom just like a typical winter bite. Tried out Capt Lovells flounder hole but didn't find any doormats. (Keeping it warm for you Travis while you're messing with the deer). A fun time with Chase & Jimbo and they'll be back in December with their wives. Good luck fishing.
