Allen Parish Sheriff's officials say they are looking into the death of a hunter whose body was found on Tuesday morning.

Authorities tell us that two friends reportedly went hunting on Monday. On Tuesday morning, one of the men was reported missing.

Sheriff's officials discovered the body of 55-year-old Robert "Bobby" Fontenot of Oakdale around 10 a.m. on Tuesday on the property of a hunting club located near the West Bay Game Preserve in Allen Parish.

Authorities say the death is being investigated as a possible homicide, but they are still gathering evidence.

The Sheriff's office confirms there is a "person of interest" in the case, but no arrests have been made and no charges have been filed.
