I am constantly impressed and amused by old sayings. The wisdom and humor are great! With that being said . . .
I was watching the Weather Channel yesterday as this young Cajun Male was telling a story about jumping off a train trestle. He went on to say that his father had always declined the offer to jump but on this day he decided that he would attempt it. He climbed up on the trestle, walked out and jumped. About that time a dead pig floated up and the father landed on it! The reporter asked the young Cajun what he thought the chances of that happening and the young Cajun said . . . . . ."Better than I wish they were" . . . . . wish I'd thought of that
