You can shoot a doe anyday of the week with a rifle, as long as it is rifle season. You can shoot a doe w/ a bow, as long as it is bow season. This is only different in Area 6 (not you) where they can NOT shoot any does for the first 15 days of bow season (Oct. 1 -15th) since the mommas are still nursing.
This has been this way for several years!!!!! Besides, you're gonna miss anyway!
