I just hung some cameras and put up a feeder yesterday in St. Francisville. Will have some pics in few weeks. My girlfriend decided to tag along with me. We are riding through the woods off the main road. She says, "OMG u just almost ran over a huge snake." I stop the bike and turn around. Its about a 5-6 ft rattlesnake coiled up at the base of a tree.  I literally passed within 1-2 ft of it. Had me spooked the rest of the day. I didnt have a gun and passing almost right alongside of it again was my only way out. I tried throwing a stick at it, think I just pizzed it off more. Needless to say, I got out of that area and found another spot. I will be carrying my pistol with me from now on. And as usual, the red bugs tore my azz up! |
Powder Sulphur.....Put a little in your socks and around your waist and you will not get any bites from red bugs.
It is cheep and you can get it at Wamart.
It has a little odor......so don't get it on your hunting stuff.
