LDWF usually put on some good hunts, they won't lease the fields unless the birds are there. Have to get there early, they only let so many in on a field, depending on size of course. We've hunted several out towards Amite & Wilmer & limited out just about every we hunted a LDWF field & yes $10 is what they charge per head, cheap but like I just said, you have to get there early around 7am to get on the list, bring you something eat & kick back, they will normally let everone go put their buckets chairs etc out at around 10am then start at noon, the boys used to bring a football & have half the group out there playing.
