#1 thing to remember ! If you get off the ground in any kind of stand make sure and get a safety harness and WEAR IT!!!
I would recomend a 20' ladder stand to start with. It's portable and if you set it up right you can be fairly wll concealed. you can either buy one with the rails and wrap w/ camo cloth or make you some rails out of 1/2" emt or pvc conduit.
i like to make them myself so that i can make them big enough to compleatly hide in.
