I'm thinking about going friday to the surf around Johnson Bayou area. This is the first time I do this so I was hoping that several of u guys that do this often tell me what to look for. I was wondering what to throw, how far to go down from Holly Beach, and how far do I wade out to the rocks? Do I need a cast net? Any info will be helpful. My boat is in shop and I need to fish!!!!
