took one of my employees fishing today to fourchon the other one couldnt get a yard pass from mama if he wasnt workin he had to be at home !! ran out of belle pass to find some pretty big rollers fished the rock for 15 min it was to ruff and had no bites so i ran around back in to timbilier bay fished some shallow ponds around the bay waiting for the wind to lay down saw a bunch of reds through spinner baits , spooons, soft plastic ect ect but on resulted in 2 rat reds bigens would take nothin. once the wind laid down headed out to calumet island found some pretty clean water and specks blowin up on shrimp on top. every speck we caught has mutiple shrimp wiskers buldging from its mouth caugfht about 35 keepers on opening night and gold glitter doa's with a charchrusse dyed tail . we had the whole island to our selves. probally heading to golden meadow or venice saturday will post report then
