Find some place that has Nitrogen and inject it into the safe. Nitrogen is a heavy gas that does not burn and will not allow the papers to burn, but hot sparks could put holes in the papers.
This would have to be done outside. You would have to be somewhat careful to not breath any nitrogen.......that would/could be deadly.
