I lost my grandma to the same thing a few weeks ago. It's tough to deal with, I couldn't imagine this being my mom. My family will have your's in our thoughts and prayers though. It's tough.
Something that hit home with me many years ago was at a funeral when the pastor explained how mourning is completely natural yet, selfish. He went on to say that he envied any man who passed before him. The trials of life are now behind them and the eternal life of peace and harmony has now begun. All that is left behind is the loss that those who still live in the mortal life feel. Natural yet selfish.
We miss them. I know I miss my HEALTHY Grandma!
