You can avoid the narrow lanes on I-210 by getting off and heading south before you get to this area.
There are several options when doing this but this maybe the best.
Get off on Hwy 14 and go ~ 3 miles and turn right on Gauther Rd. Go ~ 6 miles and take a left on to Big Lake road. From there.....you are ~ 2 miles from Calcasieu Pt landing turn off.
