Catdaddy here is what I used to make my own hitch for our camper. I acquired a 6' piece of 4" heavy wall square box. Cut to fit between the rear camper frame and welded it in place. Welded from the ends of the 4" square box back to the frame a support to prevent twisting. Acquired a 2" receiver hitch platform and welded that to the the center of the 4" square box. Welded a support from the rear of the receiver hitch platform to the 4" square box.
We have been towing our boat/trailer with 4-wheeler for the last two years behind the camper with this setup with no issues.
