But in all honesty I have never fished with shinners before going to Toledo Bend. The first few trips I made there my buddy was out catching me 10 to one with shinners so I converted. Sometimes I do alright on jigs, but for the most part I use shinners. I only fish there until end of May to fill the freezer.
