Dularge Reds & Trout
Finally the weather we have been waiting for soooooo long! Took a peak on the outside this morning dodging the 100 plus shrimp boats dragging the coast. Calm seas and clean water made for a nice trip. I fished with Craig Major and his friend John Marino. Took us a while to locate the fish as we made several moves and eventually found what we were looking for with a mixture of reds & trout. The reds were blowing up on Craigs cork and hitting anything that moved. Ten reds hit the deck and all were just under the 27in. mark. After making another move we found the trout attacking swim baits and really eating up the new test lure sent to me from John Dean with Reaction Lures. We had numerous 3lb trout smashing the new lure and the reds & trout eat it up! We didn't find the hungry trout until late in the morning and we filled the box in short order. Back to the dock by 12:30 and what a fun filled morning! Good luck fishing.

Glad the trout action in the DU has picked up some. Almost time for me to make a trip to the DU.
