MinnKota Shaft Extension
I would like to have a longer shaft on my trolling motor and was wondering if i could get it extended and about how much would it cost?

Yes, you can order a longer shaft. The shaft is threaded on the end into the motor. Don't forget to put some marine silicon on threads when putting the new one on. Look in the phone book and find a trolling motor repair place, or you might want to google trolling motor shafts. A repair center may have a used bad motor with a longer shaft you can get cheaper than ordering one. They are high as giraffe pus#y but it can be done.

I posted on another site and found out that i have a repair shop about 20 minutes away so i will call them tomorrow and see what they can do for me, thanks for the help

Don't know about a Mini but a MotorGuide, with labor, will run ya about $300.

called dixie trolling motors and they quoted me about $150

I called Trolling Motors Unlimited back to see why there is such a difference in price. The price they quoted me ($300) was to switch over to digital. :confused: ***?

That's the one Dixie TM.
The factory is recomending that the shops switch all tms over to digital.
