I need to get some work done on my boat seats and i was wondering if anybody had any experience with an upholstery shop in the Lafayette area?

they have a guy in abbeville that does good work. there is always sterling in new iberia but be ready to take out a second mortgage to pay it. they do the best work but kinda high. ive seen work done from the guy in abbeville cant remember his name but he does good work also. ask around the boat shops in lafayette they will know.

Been there once before. I will buy new seats before hiring an upholster. Just my experiences - not clowning on upholsters.

Old thread but I just bought a used boat and need a bench seat, center console seat, and center console backrest redone in the Lafayette area. Anyone know of a good one? I already know of Sterling and I don't want to spend top dollar.

Jerry's Upholstery on Cameron by Service Chevrolet. Kind of hard to see his shop from the road, but worth looking for.

I googled Jerry's Upholstery in Lafayette and came up with Jerry Jagneaux's on cameron street. The number listed has been changed though and no answer at the new one. I will try again next week after the holiday.

I did mine myself in a leopard print fabric backed by plastic sheeting.......came out pretty nice!! Brings a little class to the rig for sure!!!
