He hooked me up with some Quail. Cleaned, vaccum packed...
I cooked up 6 of them tonight in a jambalaya. I had to beat my wife to keep her from
eating it all...

man that looks good ray....called my crew today they said it was raining i figured you must have been home.........you need to grill some of them that is my favorite...

Yep, home. I got 6 more to cook. Got enuff for tomorrow too.
I might attempt to marinate and grill the other ones. |

I actually have a bunch now (ROBINS) in my subdivision......Man when I was younger you would see them by the 1,000's |

When I was single.....I met a lady that said she had taken out her shot gun last week and killed a bunch of Robins from her back door of the porch.
My kind of women.......but she had to many other problems.

Quail is pretty good, got a lot of meat on um for such a little thing.
Aint nothing better than duck heart though....TALK ABOUT GOOOOOOOD!

i like me some duck heart and gizzard gumbo or pot roast...even got the wife to taste it, she said it tastes good but she cant get over the fact that its a heart:*****:so i eat up |
