Great day on Calcasieu! Most fish were caught in 2-3 feet of water on suspending baits worked extremely slow. Tide was falling all afternoon which was key. Finally starting to pick back up, after the fresh water is pushing threw. No reds, all trout, landed around a dozen alll over 4lb.'s with 3 big ones and all were released. Did not see another boat all day except for crabbers! haha which also was very ver very helpful. Boat traffic has been bad lately..

last couple trips have been tough today felt great to get back on them! Should be a sighn of good things to come. Besides a monsoon coming.
