THE STANSEL BROTHERS WILL BE ON STAGE AT THE HOUSTON FISHING SHOW
On Friday at 1:00 in the seminar area the boys will have a special presentation titled *“CATCHING FISH ON LAKE CALCASIEU” You will want to attend this program not only to learn more about our estuary but we will be giving away packages of new baits from Texas Tackle Factory. THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE FOR AUTOGRAPHS AND NO CAMERAS PLEASE.

I don't know the Stansel Brothers. Were they the ones in "Slapshot" with Paul Newman?

I got some free tickets from them for the show.
I also got some free sample lures from them at the boat show.

Capt Buddy Oakes writes the HR&G newsletter and has a good sense of humor. I'm sure he meant this in a tongue and cheek type of way. Anyway, should be a great seminar. See y'all there!

Guess I should have titled this thread "Free Fish on Lake Calcasieu". Given the ruckus a few weeks back, I thought this seminar announcement was interesting.... |
