first time skiing

well were finally back from ski beech north carolina. WHAT A TRIP!!!!
absolutely the trip of a lifetime!!! i had never seen real snow or been skiing in my life. yea ive seen south la snow, which is kool. but the snow up in the mountians is unreal!!!!
my girlfriends family invited me to join them this year and i really appreciate that! i had so much fun and actually learned how to ski, thanks to lauren. i have never tried b4 cause of my 3 knee reconstructions.
but like they say love make u do crazy stuff!!!:help:

the first nite was ruff..... they took me up on a blue slope which had an amazing view from the top......it was all down hill from there!! lol
i rolled, tumbled, slide, and screamed all the the way down the mountian!!! it usually taked 5-7 minuted to navigate this particular course... it took me 55 minutes!! lmao:cry::cry::cry::help::help:
i have never been soo terrified in my life!!!:confused:

i made it down and just sat at the bottom for the rest of the nite.....o yea. it was 5 degrees and winds were 25 mph. yea it was cold!!

the following days were easier, and i finally got the hang of it.

ill never forget this trip, i hope all of u get the opportunity to venture into the mountians at some point in ur lives. it truely is a majestic site to behold.

here are the pics ill try to upload some videos too:p

Sweet, glad you had a good time. I love going skiing, it's my favorite type of vacation. I told my wife that I want to go for at least 3 days every other year.

That's when I would like to go, especially since my wife is out of school at that time so she wouldn't have to miss any classes and she isn't a big parade goer. I would really like to go to Red River, New Mexico for Mardi Gras, they have Mardi Gras parades down the mountain every year, I heard it's supposed to be a blast.
