baseball cards

When i was a kid i used to collect baseball cards. i found them the other day i have a ton of them. anybody know how i can find out what they worth. I used to have some cards that were worth over a 100 dollars back in late 80s early 90s. They just sitting in my shed ruining figured id do something with them. Just wanted to see if any of you knew anything about these.

Shawn Braquet 02-12-2010 03:14 PM

i have a bunch that i have kept from when I was a lot younger including a small nolan ryan collection(about 30 cards) and a nolan ryan autographed ball, figured i'd give it all to my son one day

longsidelandry 02-12-2010 03:14 PM

I had like 3 binders of cards from when I was a kid, they all got demolished in Rita

RaginCagin 02-12-2010 03:17 PM

I still have all of mine and a ton of old comic books never opened in my attic. I have no clue what they are worth.

longsidelandry 02-12-2010 03:18 PM

I would say just look on ebay for cards you have and see what they're going for. That should give you a pretty good idea on what they're worth.

Red Devil 02-12-2010 03:58 PM

You could prolly get a few bottles of juice for them...sorry I meant to say a few dollars :*****:

speck-chaser 02-12-2010 04:14 PM

didnt collect cards ,but I got a box full of mint condition hot wheels from 70's and early 80's. If they are like real cars, they should be classics by now hugh? lol

all star rod 02-12-2010 06:35 PM

Seems the only ones worth something are the ones in the 70's and beyond of the star players from that time. Seemed in the 80's on up they mass produced them!
Also, if you have a card worth $50 in the Becketts book I doubt a dealer or someone will give you face value for it. Lucky to get 75% of that valve..

CatDaddy 02-12-2010 07:23 PM

Baseball cards arent worth anything anymore....

Ill buy all old cards from yall at a decent price.....

eman 02-12-2010 07:34 PM

cards

The book (Becketts) will give you a base price but any card just like a CORKY is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it.
I have over 10'000 football cards . The book says they are worth $6000
Can't get but about $200 -$300 for the whole lot.

huntin fool 02-12-2010 08:22 PM

got 2 binders, and a gallon bag full of baseball cards from back when i was young. A ton of the hot wheel's from the 90's.

I'll Save em and give em to somebody one day.

CatDaddy 02-12-2010 08:26 PM

ohh ohhhhh ohhhhhh given to me..... give em to me... oooooo ohhhhhhh....lol

chances are they ain't worth a whole lot. grab a beckett and give it a whirl, but the prices represented are for graded cards only, and grading a card is expensive $$$$$. i have about 20,000 of em - bought em all when cards were popular, and unfortunately so did everyone else.

i just plan on picking out the best for my son and giving them to him when the time is right, but my wife is ready to throw em all away :work:
