Windy Trout Bite

Van Richards and family joined me today. The winds were blowing 20 plus Mph so we decided to pick up some live shrimp and tuck away out of the wind. The bite started off slow so we made a move. Found a point with moving water and started reeling them in Everycast for a little while. Lots of throw back we had to weed through. We put a small mess of keepers together and decided to see if we could add a few reds before coming in. One stop at the mouth of a cut and we added a couple more trout and two reds before the sky started to fall.

Big thanks to Capt T Miller and Capt K Labat for running the other two boats with Drew Carlin's crew.
