I am not one to brag....well, yes I am anyway, I just wanted to let everyone see what I horrible conditions I have to work in everyday. I work in coastal restoration for LSU and this is where I had to work today. I was in Port Fourchon today surveying some mitigated land that the Port had to replace for destroying land when they added onto the Port.

man todd. I was scaring them for sure.

They were coming in within 5 yards and we would pick up too late and they would be on the barrel

the trick is to jump up about 5 secs before they get to you so that they will flare and be about 20 yards out when you pull the trigger

My brother in law was a professor of environmental science but worked in the field, for LSU. He retired right after hurricane Rita. Fred Sanders.

wow, it even has the popping cork! that is classic right there. i tell you i am not sure what they were eating but there were birds working everywhere in that pond that is in those pictures. I sure wanted to be casting into those suckas.
