Just get a 18 hp or 23 hp, aint that much more, i wouldn't buy that lil motor

Montauk17 01-04-2010 04:25 PM

if he woulda had a prodrive, he wouldnt have had to get out of the boat and pull.

Raymond 01-04-2010 08:28 PM

AFENCE, ask the guy if will still make 18 mph with you and your hunting buddy Jordan. What is the highest weight rating you can get on a 12" boat? Hell, 2 Jordan's and that thing would be at the waterline.:D

speck-chaser 01-04-2010 08:31 PM

you noticed how he wasnt going through that mud with 2 people in the boat? And man, das a tiny boat.

flounder_smacker 01-04-2010 08:33 PM

the advantage with these is they are light. that lil motor only weights 70 pounds. so when you do get stuck its easy to get out. id like to put one of these on a layout boat and see what it does. if they dropped the price to about 1500 then it would be worth it.

I've always looked with avarice upon those type of motors, and they've always been too darn expensive. Looks like that will never change. A JohnnyRude will have to do for me.
