We'll be at the boat show in the Lake Charles Civic Center that weekend.

possibly a red fishing trip, the trout will be tricky.

are you bringing your boat or looking to charter?

this is just me, but i wouldn't pay 500+ to go catch 10 reds, swing by the boat show and catch rainbow trout in the trout-o-rama

good luck,

LA

Bird dog, are you the same "Bird Dog" from LSM. You hog hunt w/ dogs? I think we exchanged emails some time ago.

Hope all turns out well, and I would head to the wiers on the southeast side of the lake to tear up some reds!

It's supposed to be in the upper 20's on that weekend.

I am not bringing a boat but after reading some of these posts and talking to a few guys I think we'll find something else to do.Thought about headin up to Toledo Bend area instead and takin one of those guided Sac-a-lait trips. That has always been our favorite fish to catch and eat! Thanks everybody for the advice!

Been in your shoes before!!! It's going to be fing cold everywhere, I would save the money on guides and get a room at L'Auberg du lac casino and go eat at a nice restaurant and have some cocktails, and then you know what!!!! LOL Good luck

If you are just trying to spend some time w/ her and see where things go, do what Kenner says and let the chips fall where they may. If ya'll are looking for something to do together, they have plenty to do in the area. If she likes to hunt wild hogs, let me know and I'll put ya'll in a stand where she will need you to keep warm! LOL

Good Luck, give me a call if you need!!!
