So I am looking at possible going offshore this weekend, if the weather is good. Has anyone been lately? Specifically targetting ling, trying to figure out if anyone has had any luck lately and if so how far out where you?

We plan on going also but I have mixed feelings on the seas can u tell me what your reports are saying on wave height..we leaving out of rollover... I'm getting 2-4 with 13 seconds an in Cameron I'm getting 1-2 with 10... Vermillion bay is smooth I'm confused any help??

It is because of the squalls in the gulf... Your best weather predictions will come from the morning of. Naturally the gulf gets smoother toward Venice Bc of the gulf stream. Right now right now in Cam blocks I am getting 1ft @ 7 seconds
