Windy but relaxing big lake day!!

Was not going to work like I did yesterday in this wind so used the power pole a lot on a few spots till e finally found em and sat there with top up under shade from 10-2 catching a lot of small fish on incoming tide. Kept 8 small flounder and a dozen or so small trout. I did manage to catch my largest trout of the year and sad to say it was just under 4 pounds. All the reds were 15 - 15 1\2 inches so no reds hit the box today. Sry no pics this time as they hit the cleaning table while I was cleaning boat. Relaxed today and just enjoyed another day on the lake

I was out of town and not fishing for several years and just started back up this year on last day of April. Man did we have some muddy fresh water. It has changed during my 5-6 years away. Some bad but some good too. I remember Texaco cut was getting really shallow but looks like most of it 9-10 feet now. Either that or my depth finder was wrong which its been known to do while running

The "cut" was dredged about the time you went out of town.

Awesome! I remember the morning of the 3rd or 4th annual speck shootout a boat was sinking in the lake and they managed to make it to Texaco cut and boat was on the bottom with sides barely out water
