Pork Sirloin Tip Roast and more.......
The other day at Costco I picked up a 4 pack of Pork Sirloin Tip Roasts that looked too good to pass up. Heck this package was under $17.00 which breaks down to a little over four bucks a meal that will easily serve four - six people. Not bad! Yesterday morning I seasoned one of those roasts with my Gator Bite Rub and stuck it in the patio storage shed fridge. I also did the same with some boneless skinless thighs. After running a few errands I got home and having the Keg and Primo Oval Jr. already heating for a while I put the pork on the Primo and did the thighs on the Keg. Whit the Pork roast was cooking indirect after and initial searing I steamed some red new potatoes to brown up in butter and a garlic and herb seasoning. Cold refreshment is a requirement! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09151.jpg Pork roast cooking nicely! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09157.jpg Chicken thighs on the Keg almost done with a thin wash of BBQ sauce. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09154.jpg When the thighs were done I put some sliced and marinated zucchini and squash on the Keg to grill. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09166.jpg Pork roast rested and sliced. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09167.jpg Juicy!!! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09168.jpg Pork plated up with sides of Fiesta Beans, spinach w/boiled egg in it, grilled squash and zucchini and those delicious potatoes. Awesome meal! tender and juicy pork!!!!! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...s/DSC09173.jpg |

We don't have a Costco in Lake Charles so I don't know where to find this. This looks almost like a pork loin chop. Would a loin chop be a suitable sub for the sirloin tip roast?
