Stolen fishing equipment
 

My SUV was stolen in Metairie. The car was a 2005 GMC YUKON XL DENALI with La License plate NIN 866. I was going fishing Thursday morning and had loaded my gear in before I went to bed . Inside of that SUV was 4 of my rods and reels, tackle box, and boat bag. None of my stuff was left visible all bagged or covered.
PLEASE if anyone is approached to buy any of the items or sees them for sale somewhere let me know. I will give no names and I will even give a reward to anyone who leads to me getting my stuff back. I know that it is truly gone forever, but any help is greatly appreciated. And please I have learned a serious lesson and I ask that people refrain leaving unwanted comments.

IMO.... we would be better off if this kind of person would no longer be with us. Same for a COP killer, etc.

Our justice system is way too lenient and you and I are the ones that suffer for the crimes that the "bad" guy commits.

I'll look out for them, that sucks.

Hate to hear that. Check the local pawn shops for the rods in a couple weeks maybe. Also Craigslist and Facebook swap groups.

Man that sucks, I don't Pawn Shop much but I don't see many higher end rods and reels, so your stuff should stick out. Good luck, I will keep an eye out.

As much fishing gear that is getting stolen (toledo bend ,grand isle and other areas) and none of it is recovered. there has to be someone out of state that is pawning / buying all this stuff.

That is messed up. It takes a low life pos to do that. Sorry to hear that. Hope you get your stuff back.
