Boating Class Reminder

I just wanted to remind everybody that was born after January 1, 1984 that you need to take the boating class before July 1, 2010. Here is a link to LDWF http://www.wlf.louisiana.gov/boating/courses/ and here is the link to the online course http://www.boat-ed.com/la/index.htm
If you take it online there is a $15 fee but you don't have to sit through a 8 hour class like you do if you take the class elsewhere.

Any local Power Squadron has classes free several times a year.
They give all the info. and presentations for a few hours, then give a test.
Kinda like an in person study course.
The Lake Charles Power Squadron just asks for a $5 donation if you want them
to provide you food and drinks for lunch.
