Sat night i walked the piers fishing under the lights.
7 bass between 8 and 10 . all right under the 14" limit. Threw a avocado red yum craw . About 10 i pulled the craw over a big rock and felt a tic when it was falling. set the hook and thought i had a new state record bass.
after a good 10 min fight i finally landed my record.

I've never been to False River. Is your private pier ?

Ive been out there twice working for a delivery company so I never got to fish it. Its a nice area.

27lb flat head will make a nice pile of fry meat.

The area i am fishing is what they call the public landing or morrison parkway. public area w/ a bunch of piers boat launch well lit at night,
