Shimano Spinning Reels

Went to Cabela's today with my parents and was looking at spinning reels for my dad's xmas present.

After looking around for a bit, I got him a Shimano Solstace 4000FI. For the price I paid, I felt it was a good deal.

Anyone got any info on this reel?

Don't know it. Got a couple of Symetre 3000s and a Sedona 2500 and 4000. They're all good.

I went with the Shimano Symetre 2500. They are a good all around reel and size.
Another thing I like is that they are light and do not wear you out when you fish all day.

I have 2 of the Sedona 2500,they r the first spinning reels I have ever owned. I been fishing with those reels for the pass 4 years and still going strong. I use them alot.

I got my brother in law a Stradic to go with his Stix rod for Christmas.
He fished it for the first time Saturday and loved it.
It made a great combo.

That new Stradic CI4F is awesome, but runs more than a Curado. The black/red color combo is great.
