Does anyone know if the store at Calcasieu Pt Landing have live shrimps or croakers?

They should. I heard they are selling bait at Heberts now too

I was there this past Sunday and Tuesday ... They did not have any live bait as of then.
I would suggest calling first ... 337-479-1536

There are shrimp at Calc point. And shrimp and croakers at Hebert's.

Just in case cal point is out. IS there any place close by where I can try to cast net for some?

Cal Point didn't have any live shrimp Thursday(5/21). The North end is so fresh right now they are having trouble keeping them alive in the tanks using the channel water. Spicers and Davis are far enough South, I think they still have them.

You can probably find some finger mullet and shad up by the banks around the grass, but shrimp...not unless you go to the wiers |
