Cajun Softball fans sing the National Anthem
 

I was in that number.
Very proud of the Cajun Nation for not allowing the game to begin without the signing of the national anthem.

The Baylor pitcher didn't know if she should continue with her warm up tosses or stop and salute the flag. She ended up making the right decision.

Mako, did ya stay for the second game? Wife and I had to leave after the first, had an early day Monday. There is something very energetic at Lamson Field during those games..good luck Lady Cajuns at Auburn.

Oh yea. No way was I leaving after that first game.
Didn't leave Lamson Park until 1:30 a.m. Friday night and 11:30 p.m. Sunday night! I still have not gotten my voice back but it was definitely worth it!

I knew when I saw that Baylor was starting Stearns again in the second Game Sunday night and the Cajuns had a fresh Jordan Wallace that this regional was over.

That poor pitcher for Baylor threw nearly 300 pitches Sunday! She was a competitor but asking ANY pitcher to hold down the #1 offense in the country two games back to back is asking too much.

I was also in the stands Sunday and was proud to sing along, as I always am, when the National Anthem is played. But this thing is flying all over the internet with people making all kinds of remarks and ugly statements because it wasn't played before the ULL game. Fact is, it wasn't supposed to be played. The protocol is for it to be played before the start of play in the first game of the day. On Sunday, that was the Miss state vs. Weber st. game at noon, and it was played at that time. Granted, it is a wonderful display of patriotism and it was great to be a part of it, but the NCAA, ULL, or ESPN didn't do anything wrong.
