Anyone have any experience with costa replacement/warranty issues?

I recently broke my Oakleys that I hunt with. Sooo I decided to bring my costas out to the blind. Long story short, they got ran over by a truck while still in the hard case. Lol I'm sure their warranty doesn't covers this, but just wondering if I should send them in and maybe they would discount a new pair or something? Anyone ever sent some back in for anything other than minor repairs?

yea, send em back, repairs run around $60 for the frame and maybe $70 with lens replacement. And who knows you may get lucky and have them warranty them (unlikely) but possible

Guess it's worth a shot. I also still have an older pair that took a pretty good chewing from my lab. Almost paid more for the shades than I did her lol might as well send them too

I stepped on mine, they gave me free frames even though it was my fault. Just charged me for the new lenses which were $60-70 and I got to pick what I wanted. Out and back in a couple weeks tops!

I sent some Fathoms in a few months ago because the hole in the arm where the screw goes through was wallowed out and the lenses were scratched. They sent an email stating the frame was under warranty, but the lenses would be $65. I rolled the dice figuring they wouldn't swap the frame and simply grab a new pair and ship them. I declined the lens replacement and a few weeks later I received a brand new pair with a new case too. Now I have a new back up pair.

Costa is great about warranty repairs. I found an old junk pair on the road, sent them in for repair. They did not make them anymore so I got a new pair for Blackfins 580P's for $70. They are awesome and why I only wear them.

I go to Ship to Shore and pay them to take care of it. $15 or so

You can file a claim on their site real quick and easy, then just print the info and ship em out to them. They will call you shortly after you initiate a claim online

I stepped on my Coasta's last year getting out the duck blind and broke the arm off sent them back and got them all fixed up for like $40. It wasn't a bad process at all either.
