Finally made a trip---10.26.14
 

Finally got the chance to make a trip to Big Lake in almost a year. Went with Bohunterbiff and his girlyfriend. She got the flounder and a trout. Robert got the red and 2 trout and I caught the reminder of the trout. Caught all in Turners bay all around the island and between Turners and the rigs.
Bait of choice was top water top guns and gulp shrimp new penny as well as the infamous sparkle beetle ripped pretty quickly through the water. Fished several flocks of birds and alot of small 6-10" white trout under them.

At least we didnt leave with an empty cooler.
