Can you enter that said bayou from the intracoastal waterway?
I see it makes an S at the entrance and a few islands in that area.

Yes, you can. It can get shallow at times.

Stay on plain follow the crab traps till you clear the entrance then it's pretty deep awesome redfishing back there I know that area fished it as a kid growing up. They also have a small launch there when coming down 27

If you're on plane you are fine. Just stay in the middle. No problems.
If you hit some mud and have to come off step you can trim up and ease out of it.

Definitely stay in the middle I hugged too close to the west side one time and my prop is missing some paint now....dang oyster shells

Watch the s curve coming into the Bayou from the ICW. I gets very shallow on the flats and they are full of oysters. There used to be some crab pots that were on the outsides of the main channel. Haven't been in there in a few months.
