I hear some people saying it is closed and another saying it is open.... What is it??? Thanks fellas!

Except for parts of Breton chandeleur and mississippi sounds

it usually reopens near or around aug 15th each year so you only have a couple weeks before it reopens again for white shrimp season.

go to dwlf website and they have maps to show whats open or not and the dates they will open and close since different areas open and close on different dates based on samples taken from each of those areas.
