I'm 43 now but I remember playing for Sulphur.

Good luck in his baseball career. My 9 yr old plays for la bridge boys out of breaux bridge and I'm loving this time, I never played ball but am proud of him too. We won a 4 team tourney this weekend in youngsville and they got gold rings, pretty cool. Tell Austin keep it up, that can be a good journey in life.

The days i'll never forget. I played 14 years of baseball and my biggest regret is stopping. I wish him many more happy years of ball play and good luck!

No sunflower seeds in a baseball park!?! That's unamerican!! Congrats to your son.

My daughter played a few games there this year. All I could think about the whole time was if someone had hit my truck in the parking lot yet. |

And yes, No smoking, no chewing tobacco, and no sunflower seeds. They do sell peanuts. I brought my own seeds and put the shells in a cup. I had no problems, but I didn't advertise it either. This past weekend was the first time I had been to the park. Other than the parking lot, I was highly impressed. Rumor has it they are planning to build another in Broussard. If that is true, then they will have the capability to host huge tournaments with a low chance of cancellations. |
