I love Okra but I hate cooking it. My Aunt normally gives me 3 or 4 bags already smothered and frozen, just have to put it in the Gumbo, that's the kind I like best.

We plant okra as a summer crop. putting the seeds in the ground after pulling our bush beans up. Well the bush beans are all up and either froze given away or in our bellies, and the okra seeds are in the ground. We planted 36 seeds 13 of them are up. since the seeds were 2 years old I plan to replant the empty squares then wait a couple weeks and see what happens.

Rub them seeds on a piece of fine grit sand paper. My old Uncle taught me that after I had problems getting them to come up one year.

Swamp.......grandma taught me an easy method.......I just mix all the ingredients in a magnalite, put them in the oven at 350%........stir every 20 minutes or so till done.
