Sabine Refuge closed for 2 days
 

KPLC TV reported tonight that Sabine Refuge will be closed this Friday and Saturday [June 13 & 14] because they will be hunting hogs to help control the population.

That's bs. Do that during the week and not kill the office fisherman's weekend

How can they do that anyway? Never been to Sabine so don't judge me

Seen 2 swim across the 2nd ditch on the left side of Gator hole a month or so ago...Never seen a swimming pig before

Dip netted these out of the Trinity River last year.

Does that mean that the West Cove Recreation Boat Ramp will be closed this weekend?

I guess I should have read the article before I posted. It looks like the ramp heading west will be closed and the ramp heading east to West Cove will be open. Am I reading that right?
