Anyone catching shrimp

Hey

Has anyone try cast netting for some shrimp at the Weirs in the bay yet?

If so What's the count looking like? small medium etc. I may go this Friday or sat. Marsh island weirs or west side weirs

have not targeted shrimp yet, but I have been noticing a lot of nice white shrimp in Bay Au Fer while chasing the trout and reds, guesstimate around 40/50 count.

I have also caught some while going for live bait, it has been a mix bag of mullet, poggies, croakers and shrimp. All the shrimp I have caught have been med to small.

Good luck

Threw a few cast last weekend and they were very far and few between.

Enough at least for live bait?

We had the net down pretty much all night Saturday night at the camp at the Chene and we maybe had 2 lbs of shrimp.

I agree, enough for live bait mixed in with the mullet and poggies.
