Big lake 5/24

Well I showed up in LC and as per the usual the gale force winds followed me here. Put in at Calc. Point at about 10 minutes to 6 and took off. Went straight across the lake and started fishing south of Commissary point. It was rough, but manageable. Despite a short somewhere in my trolling motor foot button thing I managed to fish most of the morning without getting in any real binds. Picked up two keeper reds along the east bank on pearl/chartreuse gulps skrimps on my new Yellamouth jig heads! And even stuck a croaker in the guts with one! I was surprised about the number of boats out there even with the wind like it was. Guess I'm not the only crazy one. Haha

And now it's baked redfish for supper! Lemon, onion, butter, and Slap Ya Mama!
