Whaaaaat......?????? A Pilaf Omelet?
Yesterday morning after bringing in fresh eggs from the yard I got a little hungry for something egg related. You ever get hungry for something like that? Anyway, I decided to make a quick omelet with stuff leftover in the fridge. We had some pilaf leftover from the other day so I tossed some in a pan with a lil butter to warm. Fresh parsley, fine diced onion and finely chopped hot cherry pepper ingredients. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...da5fdc1059.jpg While that was happening I went outside and snipped some fresh chives and green onions for the omelet. Yeah, I warmed too much but I didn't want to waste it so I used all of it with three fresh eggs. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...f3732ba88f.jpg Deliciously overfilled and done! You may have noticed some shredded cheese in there it's an Italian Blend of Five of cheeses. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...35407bea81.jpg A little more cheese sprinkled on top and some toast and it was time to eat! http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...b22c3ab080.jpg This was a fantastic looking, smelling and tasty meal. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...3d6282127e.jpg You know, at first I thought it was too much but it was so light and delicious, YES, I ate the whole thing. I need to make this again. http://i1183.photobucket.com/albums/...b60afea145.jpg |
