Where the crabs at?

Anyone been crabbing lately? Thinking about going Friday morning, any information on where to go would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Has anyone put a boat 22 ft or bigger in at rollover?

Yes you should have no problem. We launch at 25ft

Depends on tide, you may have trouble getting it back on. Watched a guy from Washington bend the axle on a 18' lake sport.

Saw on La Sportsman site that state was closing the east launch(Joseph Harbor) for about a week to fix low tide launch problems.

Caught 8 doz last weekend out of Joseph harbor. Mostly mediums, they were full but large ones weren't. Chicken and turkey necks.

Have not been crabbing this year, but over the last few weeks I have been seeing a lot of decent size crabs in Lake Barataria near the mouth of Wilkinson canal.

Good luck
