Cappy, just wanted to say this is a great recipe. My family tried it last night with very positive results. We had to use a modified version due to not having all ingredients available but still was fantastic. Thanks for sharing.:D

I followed this recipe last week and my wife and I really enjoyed it.
Using ketchup in my spaghetti sauce was different but it definitely turned out great! Thanks for sharing. |
Glad yall enjoyed it it is a family favorite

O note about ketchup I use it in all my tomato gravies it is something I picked up from work on the boats. Most folks tend to cook their tomatoes down like I showed cooking them down till they begin to brown and no juice is left. The ketchup when added brightens the sauce back up making it look red and adds a nice flavor. It aint the main tomatoe by any means it just adds a very nice flavor to the Rotel and diced tomatoes etc.
