Enjoyed a beautiful day on the DU with a great family from Katy, Texas. Got a call from David Muir who wanted to catch some big reds with his wife Debbie and daughter Lauren. They arrived at the "Lakehouse" around 7 am and we headed south in search of the bronze backs. Our first stop did not produce a single fish but our second stop was golden. The crew had very little experience catching big reds as the trio were surprised of the brute strength of the fish. They quickly learned the "redfish shuffle" with double and triple hook ups. David and his family couldn't get enough and they wore out the reds along with themselves. This was a first for this crew and it's always a pleasure to introduce something new to people that we sometimes take for granted. David is coming back with his 2 other daughters soon and wants to book a trout trip this summer. I think it's safe to say he's hooked on the DU! Good luck fishing.
