catdaddy style

I hate running my boat alone with out a spotlight to view whats ahead. Especially with the river i live on being high, lots of debris in areas.

I always hunted marsh. Trails were easier to see at night, with no lights.
Just wondered.

Fishmaster 11-12-2009 09:22 PM

with a full moon it's like a night light on out there....

I can run the river wide open at night, when the water isn't high and see perfect. But when theres 30 ft tree logs floating around i'd prefer shining them first.

Fool you put that face paint on like the DUCK COMMANDER????? That is big TYME when you do that....hard core!!! I cannot wait til SAT @ 5:58am....

Ray 11-12-2009 09:23 PM

Full moon, no moon, foggy, I never used a light. Ever.
2 mile run every morning. Only thing ever got to me was heavy rain or some little flying bugs that got in my eyes. Had to squint to keep them out.

I have a friend who bought a used 42 ft. Hatteras Sportfisher, fixed her up real nice and put her on the West Fork, past the green bridge. Few months after he bought it, he hit a log on the way down to Contraband Days and did a few thousand $$$ damage to the running gear. Smacked a log that was floating below the surface.

There are a lot of big boats up the river. Take a ride. You will see.
I have several friends up there with boats up to 98 ft.
